Tesla CEO Elon Musk Announces Imminent Selection of New Factory Site

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc. (TSLA.O), stated on Tuesday that the automaker would likely choose a site for a new factory before the end of this year.

Musk responded "Absolutely" when questioned about India by Wall Street Journal reporter Thorold Barker at a gathering.

Tesla is totally dedicated to its aspirations to develop a manufacturing hub in India, according to the deputy minister for technology of India, who recently spoke with Reuters.

The most valuable manufacturer in the world, Tesla, revealed earlier this year that it would establish a gigafactory in Mexico.

Elon Musk, the creator and CEO of a number of firms including Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, and others, hinted on Tuesday that he would build a school that would have major influence over his voting rights. He did not, however, go into specifics about this idea.

Elon Musk revealed that he had selected a suitable replacement for the board, someone who possessed the necessary qualifications to oversee the company in a "worst-case scenario." Demonstrating his readiness, he communicated to the board his recommendation for assuming control in the event of an unexpected circumstance.

At a time when investors were worried about Musk's distraction with Twitter, James Murdoch, a Tesla board director, testified in court last year that Musk has selected someone as a prospective replacement to lead the electric carmaker. Musk just declared a new Twitter CEO and that he will concentrate more on Tesla.
